Weigh Days

Last week I decided to switch my "weigh day" to Friday.  I always have a better number on Fridays and I'm better rested that day so it seemed like a better day for my official weigh in.  I was surprised to get on the scale and see that I was down two more pounds (woot woot!).  I still weigh everyday but I only record it once a week.  So I weighed this morning and I was down another two pounds!  What the what?!  I decided to go ahead and record it even though I know that I'll be back up tomorrow.  I don't know if it was water weight that I lost or what.  Anywho...at least for today that put me at 33 pounds lost total.

I had planned to go to the gym today but I just wasn't feeling it.  Instead I went outside for a walk/run around the neighborhood.  I wore short sleeves and capris thinking that I would warm up after running for a bit.  It was not quite 40 degrees this afternoon.  I soon realized that it was WAY too cold for me.  Like I mentioned in my last post, I'm one of those weirdos who likes to run in the heat.  I blame it on the fact that I was born in the middle of a heat wave in July.  I'd much rather run in 60-70 degrees!  When I got home my arms were numb from the cold.  I only made it 1.5 miles and walked almost the entire time.

Oh well.  Tomorrow's a new day.

Speaking of tomorrow...I will be getting up earlier than usual to go to the gym for a Body Chisel class.  My new friend and neighbor has been going and told me it was a great class so I'm going to give it a try.  Then while the girls are at one of their homeschool co-op classes I will have another personal training session with Amber.  I'm going to be one sore mama by tomorrow night!

  1. The heat absolutely kills me. I cannot work out in it or I feel claustrophobic and panicky. Weird how different so many people are about their perfect conditions for working out.

But hey, you did 1.5 miles. That is more than I would have done had the roles been reversed and it was hot. :)

    CHEERS!
