Hello? Anyone there?
I'm back from an unplanned blogging break. Usually when I take one of these breaks it's for one of three reasons.
1. Life is insanely busy and blogging has fallen to the end of my "need to do" list (right behind dust the baseboards but just ahead of sort the socks).
2. I'm struggling with eating healthy and I'm not working out as much as I should be.
3. I've hit a writer's block and for the moment I just have nothing to say.
If you guessed any of the above as the reason for the current silence on my blog you would be correct! I'm starting to understand why I gain weight every year at this time. I forgot just how BUSY our Fall season is. And this year it is going to beyond busy. It's going to be crazy, insane, psycho, pull-my-hair-out busy. This year we are involved in a few more activities and just looking at my calendar makes me want to throw up.
But . . . we will survive. And I will NOT gain weight this year! NO. NO. NO!
I weighed in yesterday and weighed exactly the same as last week: 182.6 pounds. My ultimate goal for the Fall/Winter season is to maintain my weight at 185 or less. If I lose that's great but ultimately I just want to survive through the holidays without packing on almost 20 pounds like I did last year.
I'm struggling big time with not being able to work out as much as I would like to. Just fitting in a short run is proving to be a challenge. I've been eating so-so most days and nothing but junk on other days. I'm still trying to figure out the whole gluten sensitivity thing (some days I can eat a cracker with no problems...other days, like yesterday, I eat three Whoppers and my stomach immediately hates me).
But I'm hanging in there and I'm not giving up!
